Kings Arise Clothing was launched in December 2015 by Micah Butler. Micah has always has a heart for community and Kings Arise became an extension of that. While hosting a lot of community events such as community BBQs, back to school drives, youth mentorship programs and voting registration campaigns to name a few, Micah began to brainstorm ways to offset costs because everything he was doing was coming out of pocket. Not too long after brainstorming did Micah come up with our first shirt, Black Love Matters.
As Kings Arise has expanded and grown over the years our mission has remained the same. Provide "CLOTHES THAT SPEAK' and to remain an influence within the community and to always give back to the community. We have been featured in multiple fashion shows in during New York Fashion Week, been seen on BET and ESPN as well as being supported by celebrity figures such as Jemele Hill, Saranus Jackson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Gary L Gray, Chris Redd and others.
We have been able to continue our activism and community work and this year we've been able to sponsor kids going back to school, host a Community Concert that fed over 100 people and gave us an opportunity to bless 5 families with $100 worth of groceries, give 5 people Kindle Fire tablets as well as provide kids and the community a safe space to LOVE, LAUGH and LIVE. We will continue to do the work and we hope that you continue this journey with us.
